Is it Spring yet?!

1-IMG_3440

While I am writing this, it really seems to actually happen. Yesterday we had a high of 15 degrees, wow! I am actually looking forward to Spring by now, even though I am a huge Winter person, I love snow and the cold, but I am in hopes for warmer days now. Probably the biggest reason for this is that I am sick of my Winter hiking boots. I am missing my shoes and I can't wait to wear all those Spring beauties. Second reason would be the fact that all my other boots that could substitute for the hiking ones are giving me blisters or pressure points that I just can't take for an entire day working and running around. So here it goes - shoe issues that make me wish for another season!

I have been living in this outfit for the past couple of days, mainly because I am sick at home with a jammed sciatica and that hurts like hell. I basically put this one, hobble to the doctor to get my pain meds and muscle relaxants and then I hobble back home, take it off and try to survive the day (These pictures were take the day prior to the sciatica being jammed though). Still, it's a look worth mentioning. Especially these pants. Love them!! They are the new boyfriend pair by LTS and are so soft and comfortable. I bought them one size down to get them less baggy and I am glad I did. Mr.B doesn't like the whole baggy look and these do stretch a little still, with a size larger I would probably have lost them after 2 days. Can't wait to wear these with my sandals and ballerinas. As I am new to the boyfriend styling, have you got any tips for other looks?

Oh, poor baby! So sorry you have problems with that most painful condition. We share that, although mine resolved a couple of years after a back injury ... it will get better, so hang in there. We share that love of winter, but I know what you mean about missing real shoes! ( If I want to wear a real shoe, I carry mine to work in a pretty tote bag and change from boots the minute I get in.)
Pretty outfit as a go-to, though. LOVE the floral print shirt (interesting painterly treatment) and your print and pattern mix, too. I always appreciate how finished and polished you look with your styling elements!
Thanks for your encouragement lately ... just had a more difficult than ever winter, but all seems much brighter now. You helped.

definitely hanging in there, the back is much better already, but of course a bit of work in progress. Getting massages regularly now, it helps. Oh yes, I love that shirt for that floral print. One of my favourites in my closet. Hope to keep it for a while still! You are so welcome, encouragement is always important and I am glad to help!!

Definitely had some wonderful days here in Germany, but it seems like Winter isn't gone just yet. Right now we have constant switch from 0° to 15° every day and night which makes it really difficult to dress! Where do you live? Is it stil that cold over at your place?

Thx Patti, all the well wishes from all you lovely ladies definitely helped and my back improved a lot. Not pain free just yet, but getting there!
