Travel Diary - Benalmàdena & Málaga, Spain

1-IMG_1718

At the end of the last school year, I went on a school trip to Spain with my students. I would like to share some photos from the time there as the region of Andalusia is just beautiful and definitely worth a trip. Today, I am showing you the first part of our trip with pictures of Benalmàdena, the city where we stayed, and Málaga, which is close to Benalmàdena. Our plane flew to Málaga on a direct flight from Germany and the tickets are farely cheap. Definitely a trip worth taking also for a longer weekend.

Benalmàdena is situated at the Costa del Sol and has several beaches that are clean and not too full. We managed to go there a couple of times during our trip. Shade is missing there, so my tip is to bring a good sunscreen and sun cover. The local shops sell umbrellas for the beach as well!

We went there on a day trip and visited the old castle and the Picasso museum. There are so many wonderful places and I believe Málaga on it's own is worth a trip!
