Hay Getaway

When you want to flee reality (my thesis and school starting in less than a week), you don't go on a trip to a big city, but spend some time in a small, but beautiful town hidden somewhere in the country side. It should still have some exciting sights worth a visit close by. We decided to take a trip to Radebeul and spend two nights with our sleeping bags camping in hay. Sounds so romantic, right!? Well, it was, kinda, but it was first of all really warm and also very dusty, but lots of fun anyways. All paired with some back pain and moscquito trouble. We made the most of it though and enjoyed this little town to the fullest!

We visited the beautiful church of Radebeul (where the peace between Sweden and Germany was signed after the 30 year long war!).

Finding great new spots in your own hometown is a great way to 'get away' without having to spend lots of money. Good luck with everything for school coming up soon.

thx so much! You are right, so many nice places are right outside your own house, you just need to look closer!
