Mix 'n' Match

So this is me with a broken toe. No heels for a while, no ballerinas, not even most of my sandals. I spent more than 1 hour yesterday trying to find a couple pairs of shoes that I could be wearing in the next weeks with my badly bruised little toe. I came to the conclusion that I really don't do my feet any big favors with my fashion sense. Most of the shoes from my collection (and believe me, it's not that small a collection!) do squeeze my toes together and that isn't supposed to be good for them (I googled it). I am even one of those girls, I only buy shoes that are quite comfortable. Man, I must be used to torturing myself every day.

Do you have similar experiences with your favorite pairs?

So today's outfit had to work well with my ankle booties (thank goodness the weather was on my side with only 18 degrees and quite some wind). It's also time for another Everybody Everywear and in the end, it was quite easy to pull together this outfit. In this edition it's all about pattern mixing, something I have been a bit scared about and therefore I was thrilled to try it. With Tiffany's super cool tips that she posted yesterday, it was a piece of cake!

Bless your heart, I know your poor toe hurts. Hope you start feeling better soon & when you do, take it easy on those feet!!!

Thanks for posting the tips for pattern mixing. I've been intrigued and I do have a ton of patterned clothes but I'm struggling with trying to figure out how to mix. I might give these tips a try tonight and see what I come up with!!!!

I love the mix here. Polka dots and stripes = classic, lovable combo. The colors you are wearing are a fave mix of mine too, so I am loving the way you've put it together. PS: hope your toe heals soon! xo. -Bella Q

Great mix! I like the stripes on stripes with the polka dotted scarf. It's a great look. The color combo is fantastic too (and how cute are those earrings). Nice execution of the EBEW challenge.

Love the stripes on stripes. With polka dots. Going all out, I see. :) And also, I love the little bow. (I pretty much love anything that has to do with bows.) :) Such a great look!
