On our second day, we went to visit the "Bastei", a bridge built into the rocks of the Elbe sandstone mountains. Lucky me, the walk wasn't too steep and we managed to get up there without trouble.
The view is amazing, a bit scary for somebody like me that is afraid of heights, but really beautiful. The weather was misty, but we managed to see everything without getting soaked. I wore a comfortable combination, short pants and a warm sweater.
My hair was in the way all the time on our first day and I decided to braid them. I looked a bit like Pippi Longstocking!

Definitely a place worth visiting. around the area are some beautiful mountains and forest perfect for hiking and several castles so great for sightseeing!!
