Last weekend, Mr.B and I visited his sister in the beautiful city of Regensburg. She showed us around town during the day and Saturday night, we went out for a belated birthday dinner. On our way we crossed the river Donau over the famous iron footbridge and had a great view over the old town!
I wore a practical, but still pretty outfit as we had plans to join the middle ages carnival later that night.
Blouse: C&A
Cardigan: Ernsting's Family
Pants: Long Fashion
Bag & scarf: Thrifted
Shoes: Puma
This is a nice little tradition in Regensburg. Couples engrave their names on lockets and lock them to the fence of the bridge. They then throw the key into the river. It symbolizes their unbreakable love for each other. Mr.B asked me, if we should get one for us on our next trip :)
We were lucky enough to see parts of this wonderful firework in the evening as part of the annual festivities in the old town.
