Every year in June it is time for a very popular festival in our area - the "Kät". It's one of the oldest folk festivals in Germany and celebrated its' 493rd opening this year! We always try to go there at least once. It seems that "Kät" has some kind of reign over the weather, though. There is a saying here in the area: If there is Kät, it is going to pour down. And it seems to be true.
This must be fun. It's sad I am not a kid anymore! I have the same feeling about the ball bath at IKEA btw. :)
This year, once again, we got soaked while trying to enjoy the festivities. Still, we managed to eat some sweet waffles, snagged some duckies and had fun people-watching.
I love this old carousel - it's there every year and I take pictures of it every single year as well!
We went fishing - for ducks and even won something! A water pistol for Mr.B! He's going to enjoy it "hunting down" pigeons on our balcony!
