Watchin’ other people get mar-ar-ar-ied.
Hello, Heart and Soul Story Readers! My name is Gracey and I blog over at Fashion for Giants. The lovely Anja has asked me to pop by while she’s
away at a wedding and write a little something about what I’d wear to a wedding.
For a wedding at this time of year, you can’t go wrong with
a lovely floral:
But, not a traditional floral. As you can see, I went with a bright and
vibrant floral instead of a more traditional, pastel version.
Why bright floral?
Because I’ve never understood why people wear so much lace and pastel
and froof (it’s a totally a word) to weddings.
Most wedding guests seem to want to be mistaken as a member of the
wedding party, or even, heaven forfend, for the bride. Happily, there is no chance of that in this
dress. In bright floral you will look
like nothing more than a guest, albeit a fun and interesting guest.
I also like this dress because it’s flattering, but not too
terribly formfitting, allowing you to hit the buffet line and the dance floor
equally hard. And unlike a pastel
floral, a bright floral can go to a day or a night wedding. Just add some sturdily heeled shoes (so you
don’t sink into the grass), a chain belt and a chunky bracelet and you’re
wedding-guest ready!
Thank you all for reading!
And I do hope you’ll come visit me at Fashion for Giants!

This is a great dress to wear to a wedding! I am attending a wedding tomorrow and honestly have NO idea what to wear :-p
That dress us stunning on you! Found you via your guest post on Little Red Purse :) xo
Weddings are always tricky. If there is no real color code, it can be quite difficult to choose the right dress. Hope you found a nice version!
Thank you soooo much, I really like how the entire look came together as well. It was fun and easy to wear and worked well all day. Nothing was too tight or anything! Thx for stopping by!
