Today was a day of snow and ice rain. Not the best weather to put a foot outside the door. I had to study a lot and decided against any outdoor activities. This means there will not be a 30 for 30 Outfit today.
Instead I want to follow the lead of Sydney of The Daybook. Today is "Awkward and Awesome Thursday"!
My awkward and awesome things!
Awkward
- Figuring out in February that the year calendar is still hanging on the wall with the front page
- Grabbing two different tea bags together for your tea pot - their tastes just don’t fit :S
- Turning on the lights in your apartment at 1pm – it just doesn’t seem right
- Ordering two books together, but receiving them in separate packages – parsimony anyone?
- Buying the second part of a movie Triology for your dad, assuming he has watched part 1 – he has not
- Calling the emergency doctor and recognizing that we met before – and him saying: “always the same people”
- Studying for an exam when you haven’t fully understood the topic!
Awesome
- Getting up one hour after the alarm rang and not feeling guilty at all!
- Little sister passing her driver’s test
- flatmate’s birthday today – celebrating with her great handmade cupcakes!
- Hello Kitty socks – they make you smile whenever you look at your feet
- To find out that your Godchild will most likely be a girl
