I have thought long about wether or not I should write this post. I try to keep my private life out of this blog as much as possible. Today, I want to honor a lady though that has had a great influence on me. This woman is my great-grandmother.
She is the person I spent a lot of time with during my childhood. Whenever I needed to be taken care of, picked up from kindergarden or cared for when I was sick, my grandma and grandpa were there for me. As a Baby, I took my first bath in her apartment and learned a lot from her during all the years of my life. Just recently, I moved into her place as she went to live in a retirement home. Sadly, just a couple of weeks after, my great-grandma died at the age of 90. Yesterday would have been her 91st Birthday and I want to pay tribute to her and the things she has done for me, my sister and my entire family. She was the matriarch of our family and a rolemodel for all of us. Thank you grandma, for everything!!
I wore this outfit yesterday for her, wearing almost only clothes that I inherited from her or that were a gift by her. I think she would have liked it!

Shirt: H&M
Scarf: won in a giveaway by Joy of Living
