This month the girls from Everybody Everywear decided to feature a trend for Fall that is a real hard one for me. All the ladies around the globe were to wear colored pants. Well, finding pants in my length (38) is already hard, so when I find a decent one, I go for classic color and fit. Colored pants have not been on my radar and they are kind of hard to get. So I needed to compromise. I found those tartan capris (from my time as a rock chick and emo fashion lover) in the back of my closet and decided to try my own Fall trend - Old British Chic!
I paired those pants with my high-heeled brogues, a silk blouse and my long blazer. Add some preppy accessories and I was ready to rock those pants. What do you think, are they worth keeping and how could I remix them?

I love these! Very polo. :) I think they definitely fit the colored pants trend...you could always remix them with a baggy dark t-shirt and tons of jewelry. A little punk rock. :)

Wow, a 38" inseam? I know those are hard to find. Kandi of Kandi Style (http://iownkandistyle.blogspot.com/) also wears a 38" inseam so she might be a good resource.
But, I think you've done fabulously here with the plaid. Definitely my favorite take on the colored pant challenge and I think the styling is perfect.
