While we are on our vacation in Finland, we spend our main time in Helsinki. Some years ago, I have lived in this beautiful northern capital for 13 months. I still have several friends here and it's great to meet them again. Mr.B is also glad to get to know these people as well and is happily welcomed into our group.
My coworker and really good friend from that time invited us to her home and together with her fiance, we had a wonderful dinner date with great food, lots of laughs and stories from those good old times. We also had some catching up to do as I last met her last summer and have been missing her extremely.
This black linen dress always works when I want to quickly feel dressed up and it once again didn't disappoint. I felt pretty and comfortable at the same time, not too dressed up, but still ready for a nice dinner.
My friends live a bit outside the city centre in one of Helsinki subburbs - Espoo. The area is wonderful for taking pictures as outside each house you have several trees that slowly grow into woods. The buildings and roads have been built into the nature, but the surroundings have been kept and make the living in this city feel like the life in a small town rather than a metropolis!
