During our Summer vacation, Mr.B and I traveled to our favourite place once again - Finland. I have lived there for a longer time during my University studies and ever since I love coming back, visiting old favourites and finding new fun spots worth seeing. This year we decided to do some new things while visiting Helsinki and went to the amusement park Linnanmäki, which is known to be the biggest one in the Nordic countries. Of course, after visiting Disneyland in June, we were used to big parks, but we still enjoyed this one! I am not a huge fan of rollercoasters anyways, but love me an old-fashioned carousel!
This will be the first part of my Finland diary and I hope this series can be of some guidance for travelers in the future as well. Today, I wanted to share one of my favourite looks from that trip with you. It is also a look that I have frequently recreated for work and for leisure times since then. Right now it is too cold for the thin summer dress, but I can't wait to wear it again in Spring 2017. I added a couple of Finnish accessories to the look to suit the occasion. The jewelry brand Kalevala is my favourite and I have aquired quite the collection. Mr.B is so kind to frequently gift me a new piece and whenever I visit the country I try to add some more things to the collection myself. The brand has been around since the early 20th century and I adore their old styles that are connected to the Finnish folk stories.
