Christmas Day Sparkles

Our Christmas was full of festivities and I wore a couple of my more sparkling outfits. This look is actually quite basic, but I felt like a million bucks with this black sparkling pencil skirt. Paired with a red blouse, this is my favourite color combination this Christmas.

When it's cold and grey - wear red!

It's no secret that I love Winter. Snow is my element but Winter often brings lots of cold and grey days as well. I am not the biggest fan of those dreary days and try to brighten up my outift with color to make this more bearable for me. My favourite color for the cold Winter months is red, a bright fireengine red, often with a blue undertone. I add it into my outfits mainly through accessories, but I've also got several pieces in my wardrobe, like this blouse, that make for a wonderful pop of color. What's your favourite color to wear during Winter or do you have other tips to brighten up a look during those grey Winter months?

Snow Snow Snow

I am the happiest person in snow! My favourite about winter is the white fluff on the ground and we finally live in an area that get's some snow during Winter. Of course, it's a bit of a hassle when driving and it can get pretty cold, but I am still a Winter person! I love dressing in layers as well. For this outfit, I wore my trusty pencil skirt, a striped shirt and a lot of nude and light pink woolen pieces. Perfect look for the cold season.

Red, black and gold

When in doubt, wear some sparkles - that's my mantra! I do love dressing up for the festive season and plan my pretty looks in advance, but when I finally want to put the looks on, I often gravitate towards something much more comfortable, but then feel sad to give up the festiveness of the outfit. This skirt though brings back all the sparkles to any simple look. I have worn this particular outfit for several occasions this past festive season and switched it up just a bit for New Year's Eve as well.   The red shoes are my new favourite pair of heels. I do have this style in 5 different colors now as I do love the fit of them and for about 25€ you can't go wrong as they are so comfortable as well. The bag is my other favourite that Mr.B got me for Christmas. Definitely a smart choice and so pretty for upccoming events.

Merry Christmas 2017

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas! This year my Christmas eve outfit was very comfortable and not too fancy. I do love a good dress for Christmas, but kept the look for Christmas Eve with my parents casual to sit around and eat all the good food my mother had prepared for us. Of course, a little red has to be in the look to keep the Christmas spirit up! Merry Christmas to you all!

Casual Autumn walk

Christmas is fast approaching and I am currently working my way through my Autumn photos to show outfits in the snow soon. We already had a couple of days worth of white and I love it! Winter is my favourite and Christmas especially. While editing this post, I have been listening to Christmas songs non-stop and these pictures with the thin jacket, golden leaves and sun seem a little surreal, but I really like the outfit and wanted to share the look. I finally got my Michael Kors Bedford in Burgundy out for the Fall and Winter. It is such a lovely bag and I don't regret buying it one bit. It is a great bag for the darker months brightening up any dark look. Also these cargo pants are my new favourite. I got them in the sale at LongTallSally and loved them so much, I had to get them in khaki as well. They fit well and have an easy-going vibe to them. Perfect for the weekends!
