Flowers are for Spring

I wore this look over the weekend in hopes to finally wake up Spring. And how did he greet me? With ice-cold wind and Minus 7 degrees. Guess he's a diva and not ready to come out on stage just yet! Still am loving this outfit. I paired several new pieces with some oldies. I have the intention to build a more basic-oriented closet this year (see my other intentions on my 28 before 29 list).

I have started by filling my cardigan shelves with a new basic black one and also added this fitted blouse. I also hope to find some more pieces on my trip to Stockholm next week. Ever since I first followed a Stockholm fashion week, I have been in love with the Swedish style and of course we all know those well-known Swedish retailers (no names needed right!).I hope to find some pieces that are classic yet chic.

What I wore

Cardigan & Blouse: C&A
Scarf: gift from my friend J.
Necklace: heirloom by grandma
Ring & Earrings: Bijou Brigitte
Skirt: Thrifted
Tights: Esda
Shoes: Deichmann

Do you wear something special to wake up Spring?

I am also linking up to Visible Monday over at Not Dead Yet Style, just because I got dressed on Monday as well :) Does it count when I wore this look yesterday, but wore pieces of it today as well?!

Great look. I love the color of the scarf on you and you look weather-appropriate, but still spring-like.

Yes, this counts for Visible Monday as I always do the day before look.. I think there are a lot of us in the same boat, wishing for Spring and dressing to make us feel better...Great florals!

It absolutely counts, as long as you show up at Visible Monday, dear Anja! These purple shades are so pretty - thanks for sharing your look : >

What clever print mixing, and perfect little details! Little shoes just sparkle ... I don't normally like oxfords this much. Ring and pearls are lovely as well. Hope spring comes soon and that you enjoy it!

Thanks all for your lovely comments! Will continue posting the looks from the day before then :)

I have to agree, oxfords aren't my favourites, but they work nicely in Spring when it could rain.
