Last weekend, we visited a local tourist sight called "the naked spinsters". Not to worry, it is nothing suggestive or dirty. It's the name for a local phenomenon where thousands and thousands of purple crocuses grow wild on the fields surrounding the little village Drehbach.
There are only white and purple colored flowers, no yellow ones at all. Even some spring snowflakes could be found!
It is such a beautiful sight. It looks like the fields are sprinkled with white and purple icing.
I went with bright colors to welcome the Spring and accidentally looked like a flower myself!

Crocuses are so pretty! And you matched them very nicely. :) A little south of us are huge tulip fields, but it's still too rainy and cold to go enjoy them!
Oh those tulip fields must be awesome. Would love to live close to one of those as they are my absolute spring favorites!
