One dress to rule them all

It's that time of year again when people start sending out invitations for Christmas parties, New Year's Eve events and on my side all the birthday parties start as well. At the same time I start thinking about outfits that I could possibly wear. I raid my closet and often wish I could buy a new dress for every of these occasions. Of course, my budget doesn't allow that and my closet would probably burst soon. I need versatile pieces that I can wear for several events even during different seasons. My favourite brand for tall ladies, Long Tall Sally, just introduced their new Winter collection and I was able to choose one piece for myself. Only one!? It was really difficult for me to pick just one as the entire collection is once again beautiful, versatile and just my kind of taste. 

In the end I decided to pick a dress that would work for my upcoming parties, but would also be great for future events in Spring and Summer. I feel so much like Joan from MadMen in this dress and that makes it just a little more special. It's truly the perfect dress for any hourglass figure, comfortable and the fabric feels great on the body. It is a stretchy material, that gives way a little. I know that LTS dresses are true to size, but with these body hugging dresses you might want to pick a size larger (as I did) if you don't want them to be extra tight to your skin. I love the feel of this dress and can see myself wearing this to a million different occassions in the upcoming months, or even years. It's a great dress to enhance the curves of any woman's figure. Well done, LTS!

I guess this dress is not really office attire, at least when you are not Joan Holloway from MadMen, but it does get tuned down a little with this blazer.
