Day of Birthdays

It's that time of year again and I turn one year older. This year is quite a special one, too, as it is the big 3-0 for me. I was born during a big snow storm 30 years ago on the 50th birthday of Mr. Elvis Presley. Since then, I have had a special connection with his era, listening to his music every year around both our birthdays in honor of his achievements. No wonder I turned out to be a rockabilly chick :-) One day, I hope to visit Memphis and Graceland as well. Till then, let's just celebrate with a very wintery outfit that just screams snow day to me. Every year, I hope for snow on my b-day, but it doesn't always work out. My work place is high up in the mountains though and I am lucky to see some white during my working hours today. Later, I am going out with Mr.B and my family to celebrate. I don't really care about the number 30, it's just a number and I am glad to have a reason to meet up with friends and family. I really don't feel older just because of that day.

4 days ago this little blog celebrated as well. It's been 4 years already since I started my little place for me to share my outfits, photography and bits and pieces of important things in my daily life. It has been a fun journey so far and I hope to continue this space for some time in the future as well! Celebrating with some Korvapuusti, my favourite Finnish bun with cinnamon.
