While we were in Berlin for the KISS concert, we just had to visit my favourite store for tall ladies - Long Tall Sally. I had gotten their summer catalogue and was intrigued to see some of their new clothes. One of my favourites from the beginning was this dress. I knew, should it fit me and form a sillouette like in the ad picture on me, then I just had to have it. Well, here it is - my new favourite dress for the hot summer days. Probably one of my best buys this summer!
I put it on in the shop and felt instantly dressed even without shoes or any accessories. It has such a nice feel to it. It's as comfortable as wearing pj's and as pretty as any of my fancy dresses. I love the soft and light fabric, it flows nicely around my knees and ankles and it is the perfect length for once. I always have issues with dresses as I have those super long legs, but a normal upper body. I fit in most dresses on the top, but they are often just too short. Don't get me wrong, short dresses are awesome, but for me short means long T-shirt length. That's just too short.
This dress is perfect though, it hides my knees (I got a scar on one of them and don't like it too much) and it still shows some leg. Perfect! I can see myself wearing it all day every day during our summer vacation.
Doesn't the print match perfectly with my new color changing sandals. Totally unintended, but a great match.
It's Monday and even though I am struck down with the flu, I want to link up with Visible Monday over at Not dead yet style!

Oh so sorry you are sick, Anja! Hope this flu is over and done very soon. Your new dress is indeed perfect, and you look so fresh and pretty. Thanks for linking up to Visible Monday.
Love your high-low ... a favorite style of mine and flattering on you! The flu was terrible this year, and I'm sorry that you've got a case of it. Lots of liquid, rest and all the things that make you feel happy ... new clothes help!
Yes, you are so right, did some more shopping resting on the couch :) thanks for all your tips, they helped and it was all better after a week.
