Burgund for Winter

1-IMG_9506-001

This dress has been my favourite these past months. I love the rose print and the comfort of the jersey top. It fits well and gives me a put together look that works well for work and for parties. Wore this on Christmas day and had all eyes on me. Sadly the skirt got stuck on the rose bushes on the way and I got a little tear in my skirt. Hope I can repair it.

LBD for Christmas

1-IMG_9632

Wearing all black for an advent dinner. This dress has been waiting for its' first outing for a couple of weeks and now it is finally time. I opted for all black and some pearl accessories to give it a classic look. The LBD is always a good idea to be well dressed. This new version with its' eyelet fabric is not too chic and will work well also as an office outfit with some less fancy accessories.

Pinks and Blues for Spring

1-IMG_5715

We are currently experiencing the real April weather. One day it is sunny with almost 20 degrees Celcius and the next day we experience minus degrees, snow, hail and all kinds of weird combinations. The first flowers do blossom, but this cold destroys most of them quickly and we do have lots of grey days where only bright colors can chear up the mood. I tend to wear something more colorful during those days and this is one of those looks. This dress is easy to throw on for work or a coffee date with friends and the blue peplum jacket is a definite favourite with all my swing dresses and skirts. This might just turn into one of my staples for 2019. What are your tips for grey days?

Fashion Archives - New Years Eve look

1-IMG_1493

This year we spent our New Years Eve in Finland in the middle of nowhere in the ice-cold with a snow storm fast approaching. I definitely didn't wear something extremely fancy and therefore have no outfit photos to share, BUT and now this is funny, I forgot to post the look from last year even though I had taken some photos from that night. Still love that look and would wear it all over again would I still own that shirt (RIP). The skirt used to be an 80s bodycon dress with that itchy glitter material, but I had it made into a skirt which has been a staple in my closet ever since. Perfect for the festive season and then one needs something super comfortable with elastic waist that doesn't look like it one bit. I added a similar skirt with sequins to my closet this year and wore it a lot during our Christmas outings. What is your uniform for special occasions where you still want to feel comfortable aka you gotta eat a lot?

Christmas Eve look

1-IMG_6225

- My little photo bomber Sisu once again in action! -
This Christmas has been full of family gatherings and I used the opportunity to wear some of my favourite vintage pieces as well as some new additions to my wardrobe. This look was my outfit for Christmas Eve that I celebrated with Mr.B and my family. Love this deep red color this season and combined some faux fur pieces that are my vintage favourites. How did you spend your Christmas this year? We are now on our way for a little trip to Finland for New Years Eve and I hope to start my 2019 with some amazing moments in my favourite country up north.

Golden leaves

1-IMG_5747

The cold season and my favourite time of year is slowly coming and I can't wait for the Advent time to start, but it is a little hard to say goodbye to the gold Autumn with its' beautiful golden leaves. I lovel this time when every color is so warm and vibrant. It is always a difficult time to dress as it gets quite sunny and warm during the day. This look turned out too warm for the day, but was quite chilly later when the sun set. I am just glad that I didn't catch a cold like Mr.B as work has been so busy recently and I couldn't be sick at home right now. As it did snow today though, the time for such outfits might be up now.

Heat wave picnic

1-IMG_4667

As October is right around the corner and I wanted to share one of my favourite summer heat wave outfits. This dress is beautiful and gives me all the good vibes. This summer has been really hot and I needed an outfit that would always work. Perfect look for a summer picnic.

Summer ready

1-IMG_3778

We had the most summery Spring these past two months, but right on time for the 21st of June, midsummer, the longest day of the year and the official start of Summer, we had the frost come back. From a hot 30°C to an icecold 8°C in one night. Brrr ..... Still trying to wear all my lovely Summer and Spring looks, right now just adding thicker tights once again. The outfit of this post is acually from the warmer days and wearing that denim jacket was way too hot. Now, it's too cold and I am back to leather jackets. June is our April this year, which I don't mind as I really like the cooler temperatures, but it is not nice for nature to be so out of tune and our plants definitely show that.
Back to the outfit. I am wearing my dress-turned skirt favourite summer piece in combination with this black and floral shirt, which has been a staple in the past years. I added red accessories to the look. The bag is a Chloe lookalike and a really close dupe, the shoes are some of my favourites, but I sadly had to retire them after this day, as the strap on one of them broke. Need to replace them. These past weeks have been full of work and planning our kitchen renovations, but I hope to post outfits more regularly now during the Summer months. I have a couple of posts planned from our recent Paris/Disneyland trip and hope to show some of our house renovation as well. When it is all finished, I might do some house/room tours with before and after. So stay tuned!
