1st year of "A Heart and Soul Story"

Today is a very special day for me and for A Heart and Soul Story. It's the first year anniversary of this little blog. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by and how much has happened in the course of a year.

I started the blog one year ago mainly as a research project for my thesis about fashion blogs and the habits of a blogger. I handed in my master thesis in October and probably could have quit writing. During the last months, I got quite attached to blogging though and right now I can't see myself stopping. I still feel that blogging can help me develop my style further and also gives me an outlet. I do want to use the blog to evolve in photography and maybe take my blog to the next level, who knows!? I think, I can see myself blogging for some time, documenting my life, my style and enjoying the moment.

To celebrate this one year, I looked through the blog archives and selected my favorite outfits of the year. Which one do you like most?

I also want to use this moment to thank you all for sticking by me and for still following my ramblings on this little blog. Your comments, encouragements and support are one big reason why I still have so much blogging here on A Heart and Soul Story. Thank you!!

I am gonna go celebrate now and will eat that Petit Four :)

I love Jan and July they're my total fave! What did you do your thesis on it sounds kinda fun? MA's are always so intense and rushed they make PhD's initially look like a vacation!lol

Congratulations!  I really love January's photo because of the retro vibe.  Enjoy the sweets!

Thx a lot! Loving January as well as it was my B-Day outfit last year. I compared fashion blogs with fashion magazines and checked their importance for American readers. Was quite a lot of fun :)

Thx so much :) Yeah, the outfit was for my 50s B-Day party, it was a lot of fun to dress up for it!
