Closet Favourites - Florals

In this edition of Closet Favourites, I want to share one of my favourite patterns with you. Florals are cool to remix and I got several pieces in my closet that always work when I have a dressing blackout.

For example this light dress - it works well with tights or with my favourite skinny jeans. I could even imagine remixing it tucked in as a shirt paired with a tight skirt. 

Closet Favourites - leather skirt

For Autumn and Winter I love skirts, but often the weather just doesn't work well with them. Most of the skirts in my collection are made of very thin and flowy materials, nothing for icy wind and minus degrees in German winter. Therefore, I was really happy when I found my leather skirt some time last Autumn. It is thrifted and has been one of the best thrift finds I made so far. It has been a great addition to my winter closet and works so well with a lot of my tops and cardigans. It is made of sturdy leather and keeps you warm for some time. I had it shortened a bit, just because I really like the pencil skirt look sooooo much!

Closet Favourites - denim skirt

Happy Sunday to you all! For me it was a rainy day with a lot of work that had to be done at home. Cleaning, preparing next week at work and it just didn't stop raining! Therefore no new outfit today, but I wanted to share another of my closet favorites with you. As I already mentioned last week, denim is a very important factor in my daily wardrobe and it doesn't stop at pants. I love denim shirts and also skirts. The two skirts that I own are both frequently worn, but this one below is a bit more versatile also for fall.

I love wearing it with a shirt or a blouse and a cardigan. During fall and winter months, it has just the right length to work with all my boots and I just love the pleated bottom.

This week, this little blog has been featured on not one, but two great blogs and I just wanted to say thanks for that. I also wanted to share those two pages with you, to give those pages a little love and others the opportunity to check out all the great blogs that were featured! 

First, I was part of the What I Wore Fall Remix Challenge over at What I Wore Blog. Jessica's blog was one of the first I followed on a regular basis and I am so glad to be part of this Fall challenge! She asked the participating bloggers to style one piece of fall clothing and remix it two different ways. I picked my blue skirt that is one of the pieces I inherited fro my grandma's closet. When the weather turns dreary and it is darker outside, I like to add a pop of color to most of my outfits to bring some brightness into the dark.

Closet Favourites - Red Cardigan

My red blazer has not been the only great staple in my closet. This cardigan, which I have bought at H&M last summer, has been amazingly versatile. I wear it probably at least once a weak and feel great every time. Here are some ways that I  recently wore the cardigan.
